There has been a lot of talk about increasing gubbermint's role in healthcare. Yet everyone knows that gubbermint needs to keep their hands off our healthcare in order for it to be the most best it can be.
Right now our healthcare has no inter-fear-ance from the gubbermint. People can choose their own doctor. Once gubbermint gets it's [sic] paws on our healthcare, they will choose our doctor for us. Right now anyone can be a doctor, provided that they get their medical degree from an accredited medical school, as well as a license to practice medicine by the state. If gubbermint gets in the way, our medical accreditation standards will suffer and pretty much anyone with a sharp knife and a criminal record will get to practice medicine. Not like it is now with "regulations".
Also gubbermint wants to choose who will get medicines. Death panels!!!
Right now our system is just fine. You can get your medicine as long as it is approved by the FDA and prescribed by not a nurse, not a pharmacist, not yourself, but your licensed medical doctor. Gubbermint just wants to change this system, because that's how gubbermint "rolls". Same with medical devices. Get gubbermint involved and you'll have exploding wheelchairs and fritzy pace makers, unlike the FDA approved medical devices we have now.
Also gubbermint will choose who will be seen at the hospital and who won't. Deth panols!!!
Right now our system is just fine. Because of EMTALA, if you have an emergency, a hospital is required by EMTALA to see you in the emergency room. Once gubbermint changes this, then it will be death panels and stuff like that. Government will just take our EMTALA away from us.
Gubbermint will also take away our medical HIPAA privacy rights. Why is gubbermint always getting in the way of our Bible-given HIPAA privacy rights anyway? This is an out rage.
Anyways, that's my beef with gibberment. Gibbermint is always turning everything they touch to sheer crap! Unlike Midas Mulligan in the Book of Rand.
Go awya, gubbbmt, just go awya!.
Fin.
Update: For some reason, articles on the Kos need to be "rec-ed" both at the top and the "bottom" to be "rec-ed", so if you like this, press "rec" at the top, too.
