Namvetkato's quilt top
Annalize5 has lung cancer and has had to move halfway across the country so as to be near a daughter as she recuperates from surgery. She also has a whole bunch of other serious health problems, diabetes, liver, and heart trouble among them. This lady is very ill and can really use our arms around her. We can hug her with a community quilt bearing messages of love and support from you.
We are short 8 messages for this quilt.
Vetwife's quilt, showing the backing
What is a community quilt? It is a colorful blanket that contains messages from you transcribed by me in archival ink. Annalize5 will be able to take her quilt to treatment and not feel alone. She'll be able to rest under your loving words -- and cry into them if she needs to. It is a very special thing we can do for a lady who has suffered a lot.
Shot of namvetkato's quilt top as I was building it. Here you can better see the patch sent to us by Gordon20024. The red floral fabric depicts poppies.
It takes time and material to make one of these quilts -- and it is a living for me and my sister. If you would like to contribute to Annalize5's quilt, here is a PayPal link -- or message me for an address should you prefer a check. $15/message is suggested but some give more to cover for those who can't afford to donate. We really appreciate this because every message is precious to Annalize5.
