More below the fold:
Yeah.
So.
We found a place, and it took them longer to set up Internet access than we had anticipated.
Like tonight. About an hour and a half ago, actually.
And because we've been rebuilding our life with the carefully budgeted disability lump sum, I've had to stay tied to the house most of the week for deliveries and the like, and when we did leave it was to get necessities, like food and something to keep food in.
Well, we're here now, and I'm back online, so on with the reports that I have.
Here's the Team Kaels report from Ninotchka:
I took all of Thanksgiving week as a WoW break, and getting back into it this week I found that I had forgotten what little I ever knew about how to tank. The flex group and Team Kaels managed to overpower my weak spots, however. The flex raid demolished Malkorok and plundered the Spoils of Pandaria, but were stymied at Thok because of a ditsy tank who turned the dinosaur so that the tail swipe wiped out the entire raid. And other embarrassing mishaps. Oh well. Team Kaels decided to stop extending our Garrosh lockout, and instead focused on re-clearing the rest of the raid. We made it up to the door of the Klaaxis in just two raid nights (technically two and a half since we abused a 4-boss earlier lockout someone had lying around). So we’re going to squish some bugs on Friday and then we’ll be able to spend a bit of time attempting to deliver Garrosh to (temporary) justice. Wish us luck!

Here's Pamena with the Team RubiPam Report:
Team RubiPam report:
We didn't do much last week because of the Thanksgiving holiday, and Monday night, Rubidium was out for the first hour. So we brought in Voban on his feral kitty and Corwynn switched to his healing pally, so we could farm the first wing of SoO - and it was pretty productive, 3 bosses in 45 mins, although somehow we got stuck on the Sha. Then Rubidium materialized, so we went back to our normal configuration (and thanks so much to Voban for being so gracious about helping us out and then stepping aside when Rubi came on line - glad you got some gear out of it) and went back to Spoils. We only had about 45 minutes to work on Spoils, and we're getting better but something is still holding us up, not sure what. We will try again tonight, I really want to get this one done!

Also from Pamena, the Saturday Night Massacre report:
Saturday Night Massacre report
I wasn't sure we'd have enough people on for SNM, and decided that in the holiday spirit, we should do something a lot of people could and needed to do. A few folks had not yet done any Throne of Thunder at all, and several were still collecting runestones, secrets, etc., for the legendary cloak quest, so we signed up for TOT LFR, starting from the top, and ended up taking 20 people (later 21) in there. It turned out to be a blast! We had several very high powered dps - Carune, Tay, Mageartin, others - and we just blitzed through the first two wings. The most amusing part of it was the reaction of the non-guild players to realizing we were not only a guild group taking up most of the raid, but we were a group with at least 7 or 8 people doing 140-240K dps, so they could just go along for the ride - "Hey are you guys doing the rest of raid? Please?". The sweetest reaction was from a player from our own server who was astounded that our guild would do an event like this on Saturday nights, with everyone from top geared progression raiders to folks just getting their feet wet in MOP raiding - "Can I join ur guild?". Haven't seen an application from him yet though, but it was a nice compliment. The evening made me feel very good about the Saturday Night Massacre in general, which has now been going on for well over a year.
I have put 3 SNM's on the calendar for December - I skipped Dec. 21, as historically that's when a lot of people are out for holiday parties and whatnot. I want to draw attention to the Naked Karazhan event scheduled for Dec. 28th - this was originally Nina's idea, involving people organizing into teams and essentially racing thru to see who can complete it first. I will be talking to Nina in the hopes that she can flesh out her ideas on this a bit more - when I mentioned it Saturday night, people were very enthusiastic.
On a technical note, we are now mostly using Mumble instead of Vent, and it seems to work very well for most folks, so I hope everyone will download the client and get it set up, so that we can eventually perhaps let our Vent subscription lapse (we get Mumble for no extra charge as part of our web site deal with Enjin).

And finally, the Team Z report from Tvath:
to me
Team Z has downed Iron Qon and the Twin Consorts! Just one more boss before we join the other two raid teams in Siege of Orgrimmar. The trick to Qon was getting enough team members to survive the tornadoes in the middle of the fight (I, um, did not actually succeed at this, but luckily we have a great team!). The consorts were pretty much tank'n'spank at this point given how overgeared we are for the fight, and we succeeded on the second attempt.
Now to kill Lei Shen, and then we can leave the Throne of Thunder behind us! I will be just fine if I never hear anyone say "Unleash the storm!" again. I mean, first of all, who leashes a storm! And secondly, it seemed like pretty much every boss on the island said this. If Blizzard ever hires a Raid Boss Dialogue Writer, I am eager to apply.

That's all I have for this week.
For the Horde!
