There are lot of stories here, and around the web, of supposedly Repubs who by sheer force of the ACA have turned into screaming liberal. Now, while I'm inclined to believe that progressives are far more truthful than Repubes (I mean, a gang, a tribe, a bunch of morons like that which believes in dumb stuff like "trickle down", are pretty much the poster pigs for mendacity here) I think these are most likely BS stories. Same as their "I was a democrat until I learned the TRUTH! and became a teabagger, pwaise da Lowd!" stories. Yes, I am a cynical bastard.
To be fair, a good number of our stories do not actually say that Repubes are now gonna all vote Democrat in any election.
Still, it would be good to test the gullibility of ourselves: Do we progressives actually think that the ACA is gonna be a major vote changer?
Please take part in this poll, and the see the one about the effect in 2016.
Allow me to shamelessly self promote my first poll
Gerrymandering: the-numbers. It's even worse than we thought....
P.S.
I was tempted to add the option "Are you outta your treehugging mind? Republican't will NEVER EVER be grateful for the health care insurance that is now provided to them, will hate Obama EVEN MORE now!!!"
, but I choose not to, cos everyone would've picked that.
And yes, I AM a treehugger, more extreme than most, I think in all city centers there should be an seven miles in diameter that's closed off for cars, only open to bicycles.
