I sure am glad I stopped drinking years ago. I ran early this morning and I saw 3 cars. I usually see hundreds ,even on a holiday. My mind drifted to last night when an old friend was convinced my laughing and putting people in good moods,helped me close
more deals than him.
No matter what our message is,one needs to humanize him or herself to relate to the other person.When I sold products,I always had stories,or listened as carefully as possible
to the person talking. I did care about them. I really did want to make their life better.
Most of us will be promoting an agenda or person this election year. This may sound
beneath you,but use sales techniques when you promote an idea or a candidate.
Ask quistions,think how you benefit the person you just talked to.
Never trash Republicans in public. Always take the high road,
If I were running against Ms,Morris from our state of Washington for the House in Congress. I would already know she spends most of her time attacking Liberals.
I would ask folks in the audiience who likes Social Security? Medicare? Medicade?
Anyone have Diabetes? know someone who does? before the Affordable Care Act
how easy was it to buy insurance?
I have the Obamacare sticker on my car, I get into all sorts of conversations from folks.99.9% of the time,I win the folks over, I loose the "he is from Africa and he is coming to get my gun"crowd all the time.
It pays to have a disabled veteran license plate. It does take away some of the
crazy folks thunder.
We have an entire network which gets great ratings,an entire industry of anti-Obama
everything people to fight this year, We are smarter then they are, with the right message. Smile and laugh with your enemy.I am telling you,you will win more than you will loose.
