This is just a short note to say that I am worried about JTinDC. It is very cold in Washington DC and we had no word from him to know if he had found either a shelter place or other transitional housing.

I am a bit worried.

The last time I saw him was October 23rd. He made comments here on Nov. 7th. As he had a laptop and a phone at that time, I was not too worried and hoped he found a temporary solution. Now I am wondering, if he is still in good health and if anyone has heard about his status. It is possible he doesn't want to communicate and I have full understanding, if it should be the case.

I just wanted to ask those of you, to whom he might have more trust to talk than me, if you could try to check to see, if he is ok. On October 23rd he was healthy, though he had lost quite some weight compared to the time he met with you at the DC/MD/VA meet-up.

From what I understood when I talked to him last time, he preferred to be on the streets instead of accepting shelter, though I am not even sure, if there were enough shelter places he actually could have gone to. These were times that were warm enough to "make it" on the streets without freezing. He also hoped to find housing through friends or buddies or through his case worker perhaps.

He could have found a housing solution or couldn't. Because it's so icy cold now, I really would feel better, if we would know about his situation.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
