Don't worry, Walkerites. This news item, like many others that make Scott Walker look bad, is tucked into a news blog post. Newspaper readers won't hear of it.
While Packer fans, including his opponent, Mary Burke who posted a photo on Facebook, froze their butts off in the stands at Lambeau Field, Scott Walker was getting his palms greased in a nice warm skybox.
Die-hard Green Bay Packers fans came in sleeping bags, blankets and multiple layers to brave the elements and watch Sunday's playoff matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in frigid conditions.
Not so Gov. Scott Walker.
On Sunday, the first-term Republican governor was busy raising cold campaign cash at a fundraiser held from the comfort of a Lambeau Field skybox during the game.
There's little information available because the event was, of course, private, but was is known:
Hosting the event was Gary Reynolds, founder and CEO of GMR Marketing in New Berlin. Reynolds and his wife have contributed $52,500 to Walker's campaign fund over the past eight years, including $20,000 shortly before the 2012 recall race.
The 1% have been richly rewarded for their "investment" in Scott Walker and his GOP pals. Life for them has been very, very good with Walkers own representatives meeting with them and asking
"how can we love you more?"
So while Packer fans endured hours of well below zero temps, Scott Walker was squeezing the wealthy elite of Wisconsin for every buck he could get in a comfy and catered luxury skybox. I'm sure he's happy that this little story is being buried by his corporate media pals. Cheeseheads paid attention to the actual game.

Update for a diary yesterday on Scott Walkers jury duty. Today he was removed from the jury hearing a case involving a campaign donor.
He should never been on that jury in the first place.
