Big Day today, although most of the actual numbers are fairly small:
Minnesota: Small Private QHP increase, larger Medicaid increase since 1/18
(OK, I posted the MN update yesterday but it seemed better to lump it in with today's batch)
Nevada: 10.7% Private QHP increase in 2nd half of January
Massachusetts: 30K added to Medicaid
Delaware: Private QHP up 55%, Medicaid up 32% since 12/28
Oregon: Pvt. up 11% since 1/30; Medicaid up almost 17%
Add all of these fairly small numbers to the existing total, and we've hit just shy of 14 Million total:
--3.03M Private QHP (Exchange)
--123K Private QHP (Uncertain)
--124K Private QHP (Direct)
--52K Private QHP (SHOP Exchange)
--3.74M "Expansion Only" Medicaid/CHIP
--3.81M "Woodworkers" Medicaid/CHIP
--3.10M "Sub26ers"
= 13.98 Million total
It's important to note that there's still a TON of missing data since around 12/22 here (Sec. Sebelius gave a general "3M total" exchange tally on 12/23), along with most of the direct (off-exchange) Medicaid enrollments from January.
This means we can probably expect the Private QHP (Exchange) to shoot up another 300,000 or so (my guess) when the official January HHS report is released...which will likely happen on Monday.
