Robyn Doolittle has just written a book about Rob Ford.
Charlie Crist (Republicans are too crazy for me, I want to be a Corporacat) is just another example of the same phenomena. In a just world this leper would be untouchable, now he's a Beltway Bi-Partisan darling.
I'd be remiss if I didn't at least acknowlege the departure of Jay Leno from The Tonight Show. I've never liked him as a comedian and I think what he did to David Letterman and Conan O'Brian was despicable.
Next Week-
Thursday is unbooked as of yet. The rest of the line up looks like this-
The Daily Show
* Monday 2/10: Ty Burrell
* Tuesday 2/11: Elizabeth Kolbert
* Wednesday 2/12: Joel Kinnaman
The Colbert Report
* Monday 2/10: Patrick Kennedy
* Tuesday 2/11: Charlie Crist (must be a mistake)
* Wednesday 2/12: Godfrey Reggio
Now, not to sound too aggrieved or petulant, I've noticed an upswing in readership but a distinct lack of support in relieving me of the burden of producing these pieces during what is the busiest time of year for me. If this continues I'll really have little choice except to go to a Monday and Thursday schedule for the next 2 weeks OR limit myself to links and 'Have ats' which is all you really need to do anyway.
I would like to think people will step forward and help me carry on Tia's legacy.
