Imagine my surprise when I turn on the CBS news and see a picture of a hospital in Seattle.

This was no ordinary hospital,it was Children Orthopedic hospital. I used to sell products
to them, and a little girl named Amy died in my arms there.

More important, the reporter was telling how a little girl with a busted eardrum wont
be covered under her parents insurance plan. Childrens hospital is not listed on their
plan.

This hospital is the finest in the west coast. They simply handle children. They have
saved thousands of young lives. The idea that hospital would not be on an insurance
plan is absurd. The hospital is suing the insurance company to be added to the accepted list. The hospital is now paying for the little girls care. No one is turned away
because of money.

Health care-now is a group organizing for single pay. These parents interviewed on the news brodcast THOUGHT they had the right kind of insurance, but
found out they didnt. I am finding MANY care givers refusing treatment to my poor adult son. He like thousands of otherfolks are being forced to a clinic that is overworked and understaffed.

The ACA is great for America but we need to simplify health care for ALL Americans.
Some states are not even allowing the ACA in to their states which means people
die and the emergency room bills add up everyones costs.

S-915  is a bill that comes from Senator Bernie Sanders. When you go to this site, you
will see lists of people and organizations joining this fight. Medicare is already in place.
Lets expand the coverage to all. Millions of people will be covered in every state.
The Republicans in Congress ,under orders from their rich masters, are making a career out of fighting thre ACA.

War has already been declare by the right, lets "double down" on Health care and elinimate confusion, and go for what many have said is what we REALLY want. They
are right, we do want single-pay. Republicans fought Social  Security,Medicare and Medicade when they became programs. If it"s a fight they want, lets all organize
and give these demons the fight of their life!

Many labor unions and organizations are ready to fight for single-pay,so should you.
Medicare is clean, less confusion, and better health care for all.

Lets go for it.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

I don't know if there is 100% agreement on this point. Here's a single-payer Children's Hospital on the West Coast that might disagree.

Besides, if you went to single-payer you'd turn socialist and start speaking Russian or some language inferior to American English. Snark aside, this is yet another reminder that medical insurance companies are inherently evil (apologies if there is one that's something less than evil).

I hope every person think"s their hospital is the best in the nation. I was stating what I feel. You seem to want me
to prove it, okay,I"ll play, which standard to you want to use?
Pick one, game on,You and I agree about insurance companies.
Everyone who knows me,thinks I AM a socalist.
Bill gates has a 50 million house, you will never hear me do anything but say how GREAT he is for all the good he does.
The rich SHOULD feel proud about achieving what they have.
Now I want them to behave like Bill Gates. What a beautiful
world we would have if the 1% crowd  did the kind of things
      The Gates foundation does,
      I am just fine having two classes of people in the World;
middle class with their needs met,and the rich.
      Take care,

I can't imagine how long it will be for the red states to acquiesce, and allow affordable health care in their states. I know people piss and moan about MA health care, but I am so fortunate to live in this state. If I were at all fluent in creating such a system as single-payer, I could probably do something positive towards moving in that direction...in my own state..that is. I am not. Relying on the US Congress to pass any law that benefits ordinary people is a bad joke.

I agree with you about Congress. They would argue over what day it is. The Republicans are racists, what other President
has had to deal with the verbal abuse and hatred ours has?
I know history well, I will debate anyone on any President in our history. The biggest reason Our President is attacked  so
much is: he is a black man.
I wish I lived in your state as well. I get free insurance because I am a 100% disabled  veteran. My sons would have
life so much easier if they lived where you do.
I still want to fight these monsters in Congress. We can win
if enough fight for health care.
      Thanks for your time,
      Mike
