A gas well explosion has occurred this morning at around 6:45 a.m. in Greene County, PA, 50 miles south of Pittsburgh. WTAE reports that there are already three fire companies out on the scene. They also report that they are unable to get close to the fire because of the heat. One person is injured so far and one is missing. Speaking for myself, there will be plenty of time to discuss the political implications. Right now, thoughts and prayers are for the safety of all concerned. Refresh the WTAE link periodically for updates.
