The Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum in Hood River, Oregon has a collection of hundred of automobiles and airplanes. In addition, there is a very small collection of old tractors. Most of the tractors on display are John Deeres. According to the company website, the John Deere history began this way:
In 1837, John Deere, blacksmith and inventor, had little more than a blacksmith shop, a piece of discarded polished steel, and an idea that would help farmers, changing the face of agriculture for all time.
