First, I apologize for taking so long to post Part 2. I got distracted, and other stuff. Part 1 is here.

I'm publishing this in the morning, as sort of an experiment. I'm not aware of any rules about when to publish.

Before we introduced her to Big Sister, Little Sister lived in the bathroom. Here she is eating from her "food dish", a saucer about 6 inches wide:
Food!

Here is her bed and a few of the toys we put in the bathroom for her:

And here she is climbing up on my jeans. :-)

After a while, we let her make short, completely supervised visits outside the bathroom. This shows her wrapped in a pillowcase, snuggling on my partner's lap in the recliner:

In this photo, she is being held by my partner:
Adorable

Eventually, we allowed her to play in the living room for short periods, with access to and from the central area blocked off so Big Sister could not get in, and so Little Sister could not get out without being quickly recaptured. Here, she is with a pair of my partner's sandals:
Playing

Little Sister eventually graduated from living in the bathroom to being allowed to roam the house freely, after we were sure that Big Sister would not be hostile. I may do more about when Little Sister was very young.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
