When I saw how balmy the weather in Washington DC; (where this case is being heard), is going to be on Wednesday I wrote this post, in case anyone wanted to go there.
(But dress warm, it is only February. Wear thermal shirts, socks, etc, hats and bring your gloves too).
Getting From New York City to Washington, DC
In this weather, Amtrak is the safest and quickest way to go.
Penn Station is located between 33rd and 32nd Streets and 7th and 8th Avenues.
There are entrances to Penn Station from various points on 33rd Street, 32nd Street, 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue in NYC. Call Amtrak 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245).

The spectra gas transportation pipeline is a very important story. Totally ignored and hushed up by the traditional media.
This Postponement really helps, On President's Day Weekend (*very ironic).
Because; from what I've read, the case is heard immediately after a case is scheduled.
It's heard within like maybe a week, a couple of days, etc. Very short time. So this postponement really helped because hardly anyone knows about this.
spectra's gas transportation pipeline between NJ and NYC, has been a well kept secret.
♥The Blizzard Gave Us Time To Organize♥
Can you imagine if 1,000 spectra pipeline protesters showed up outside the Courtroom with signs, singing, etc!
I was born in 1950. Raised, mostly in Bayonne NJ (I lived in South Jersey, Brick Town. grades 2-7). It was only a Township then. We didn't even have a supermarket until about 1960, had to drive to another town.
I remember; when NJ was truly, ("The Garden State"). The Pristine Oceans and Lakes, The Boardwalk, road side farm stands with the best strawberries, tomatos, and sweet corn anywhere. Chicken farms, dairy farms, the best ice cream ever.
I've been taking the Path train; to Greenwich Village in NYC, since 1967 and I'm not going for spectra's lies.
All my friends are in Jersey City and Manhattan. So I'm trying my best to help stop spectra.
There are many grassroots activists out there; like Occupy The Pipeline in NYC and NJ (and not to forget, Reverend Billy And The Church Of The Earthelujah, Stop Shopping).
They're all out there doing the job and I'm documenting everything I read and see. Sharing with as many social media sources as I am able, ie Dkos, nj.com, facebook, blogspot, google.
I've been researching this gas pipeline for over two years.
Ever since; then, Jersey City Mayor, Jeremiah Healy started fighting to stop spectra from building this pipeline.
Fate Of NJ And NYC To Be Decided By Federal Appeals Court
I have lots of links included here; with information about the dangers of the spectra pipeline. This post, is just one part of a series/ongoing
saga.
spectra pipeline is a bad and dangerous idea. The facts against it, speak for themselves.
Documenting and writing these spectra posts; have been a "Labor of Love," for me.
It's what I do best. BA Sociology/Minors; Philosophy, Media, History, Health Science and 18 Grad Credits in (ESL English As A Second Language).
My friends have always helped me when I needed it and now I want to help them all.
Even though I no longer live in Hudson County and probably will never move back there; I Love Jersey City, Manhattan and Hoboken is a nice little city.
