- Mapping the long and short of sex in your state. Spreadsheets, a sex activity app "track[s] your performance between the sheets." The app monitors movement and audio levels, using the phone's accelerometer and microphone. So how long is a sex act in the states?
Maryland is number 16 in the country, with a duration of 3 minutes 15 seconds. The Old Line State has a little old man in it.
Alaska limps in at number 51, with an apologetic 1 minute 21 seconds.
My single regret in life is that David McCallum of Brooklyn—a man incarcerated in 1985, the same year I was released, and represented by Innocence International since 2004—is still in prison. I request only that McCallum be granted a full hearing by the Brooklyn conviction integrity unit, now under the auspices of the new district attorney, Ken Thompson.
McCallum was 16 when he was imprisoned.
Kashkari, a former U.S. Treasury Department official, was asked about running the federal bank bailout when he described himself as “the guy you send in when, pardon me, the s--- is hitting the fan.”
A producer hit a button that prevented the comment from getting on the air and warned Kashkari "We don't cuss on the air." He apologized.
