Per HuffingtonPost:
MADRID (AP) — Paco de Lucia, one of the world's leading guitarists who dazzled audiences with his lightning-speed flamenco rhythms and finger work, has died in Mexico, Spanish officials said Wednesday. He was 66.
A spokeswoman for the town hall of de Lucia's native Spanish town of Algeciras said de Lucia family members had told them the artist died of a heart attack. She said he began to feel unwell while on a beach in Cancun with his child and died while being taken to a local hospital.
The music world isn't quite as rich today as it was yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and all of those whose lives he touched so deeply with his music.

I only saw this this morning because I had a spell of inspiration with work, so I will try to get some rest. Any and all anecdotes and musical contributions will be much appreciated.
