I just watched Joe Scarborough make a "tearful" mockery of the event. He was pathetic.
Mika appealed to him about his children, about the science -- to no avail -- finally simply saying "I'll let the evidence speak for itself."
Joe was not alone in his disdain for the Senate all-niter. Where was all this derision when Cruz was reading Suess in the House?
Democrats hold all-night 'talkathon' on climate change on Senate floor
Associated Press, foxnews.com -- March 11, 2014

Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., said Democrats who showed up were not convincing anyone with their stunt.
"They'll have an audience of themselves, so I hope they enjoy it," Inhofe said about an hour into the marathon, planned to last for nearly 15 hours. Inhofe's speech marked the only time Republicans engaged in the debate. Two other GOP senators, Alabama's Jeff Sessions and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, took to the Senate floor earlier Monday to denounce Democrats before the overnight session began.

It was a lot of hot air about a lot of hot air.
Hard to believe that was an AP story. This disdain for Science is a symptom of a much bigger problem in America:
Denial, Despair, and Disingenuous Dismissal. Brought to you buy the same old Fossil-sponsors -- who have a greedy stake in the "Debate" outcome.
Fortunately a few other news outlets covered the Senate 'talkathon' with a bit more class -- and seriousness. Perhaps they care about future generations, and actual evidence?

Is the Senate's climate change all-nighter more than a one-night stand?

I have to wonder though, where is the "media fanfare"?
When 1 senator does it, it's a national event.
When 28 senators do it -- talk intelligently all-nite -- it's a non-starter.
Funny that.
That Denial, Despair, and Disingenuous Dismissal.
I give these 28 Dems credit for trying though ... trying to break the Denial spell, still being spun by Fossil Fools and paid Shills; despite all the hard-evidence to the contrary.
