And the Republicans can't understand why so many Americans are signing up for coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

Watch the presentation by Mr. Stewart and Aasif Mandvi as third world health care is uncovered and documented NOT by our dependable MSM, but by a comedy show.

A comedy show.

They make it funny, but it's so funny I could cry about it.

Here is The Link to the piece - which aired on March 6, 2014.

Repealing the ACA would make the scenes shown here commonplace in America.  Why do Republicans want this so badly?  Why is keeping people in need something that makes them salivate?

Enjoy the presentation.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

We can, as taxpayers, blow millions of dollars a year covering the members of both houses of Congress and their staff, but helping the average American to be able to have affordable health care seems to be more than the Republicans can bear.

    Screw them!

they actually made the republican unable to speak coherently for a while there. I have to wonder, do some of those interviewees even realize they're talking to people who don't agree with them? They just seem to go right along with it like they do. Either they have a really good sense of humor, or they are completely dense.

I think there's alot that goes on which we don't see.  I'm sure that they start the interviewee out with a sympathetic conversation, nothing threatening, no questions at first, then some softball questions that get them pumped up to convey their message . . .

Then the real questions start.  Which is what we get to see.

I'm also betting that most of the conservatives don't watch TDS and even if they know what it is, they get lured into a sense that they're there to present their side of the story to viewers of TDS before the pointy questions skewer them.

The interviewers are all VERY good at this, so there has to be a formula at work there which obviously functions perfectly.
