Many actions being taken today can be very confusing to non-Americans and the sane. We were wondering if some educated personage could help explain a few things for us.
1) Why do all the Facebook posts asking "if you support liberty and freedom, . . .", ask it in the name of people trying to make certain things mandatory?
2) Why do all the people who admire Putin for his decisiveness and bare-chested, bear-wrestling macho, want the U.S. to attack him?
3) Why is every catastrophe that hits the Bible Belt declared the fault of people who live mostly in blue states? Is God's aim really that bad?
4) When a black youth finally uses the "Stand Your Ground" defence after shooting a white stalker, how many heads will explode?
5) Did John McCain really demand the U.S. launch a land war in Russia during the winter?
6) Why don't the neo-Nazis sue whenever some idiot compares some puny political gesture to their hero's world-shaking deeds and ideas?
7) How is it that fundamentalists have no problem finding fragments of Noah's Ark atop a Turkish mountain, but cannot find traces of the Tower of Babel in the middle of a desert?
8) Why don't they just build a refinery in Alberta?
9) If you can afford to spend hundreds of millions of dollars influencing elections, why can't you afford to create jobs without tax cuts?
and finally,
10) Why don't they take all the unemployed, give them all fake radar guns, post them every few hundred yards along major thoroughfares, and pay them with the money saved on funerals, medical bills, and insurance claims?
