Simple layout with images.
First tip. Make a list of your photos. Embed the last one first and work up your list in reverse. I cheated and used the same one over and over. But if you do that all those globs of code will be in the right order in the upper Intro field and you can cut all the code after the first few images and paste them, still in order, below the Squonkus.
Then you fill your text in between photos.
Plain Lightbox:
Heeeeere's Foyle!
Lightbox in a Blockquote:
Heeeeere's Foyle!
Center:
Center & Blockquote:
Left align with nifty horizontal rule:
Heeeeere's Foyle!
The horizontal rule is <hr> placed after the picture code. [Here when writing the diary, I used the backslash \ before the less than symbol so the site didn't think I was trying to put a horiz rule in teh middle of teh sentence.]
Oddly enough, it sits next to the top of your image even though it follows the code. Which is fine. Meanwhile the left orientation of the picture lets you have fun pretending to wrap text around it. ...to wrap text around it. ...to wrap text around it. ...to wrap text around it. ...to wrap text around it. ...to wrap text around it.
If you align right, well, the same thing happens but in mirror image. Note that the coding does change the size of the image when compared to lightbox and center.
The caption is part of the photo code: <div class="dkimg-cap">Heeeeere's Foyle!</div>
A \ before each of the "less than" symbols let me show the code. Put that last in image embed code and there will be, like magic, a caption. Or enter something in the Image Library caption field and the code is added where it belongs.
The final Foyle.
Avoid stacking left and/or right alignments one after the other. It doesn't work well. You need runs of text to separate them. Use lightbox or center to stack photos with captions or just a little text between.
