Received this e-mail today from Physician, Iraq War Veteran and congressional candidate, Manan Trivedi's (D. PA-06) campaign regarding his opponent, Ryan Costello (R. PA-06) and the Paul Ryan (R. WI) Budget:
As you may have heard, Republicans in Congress voted to pass Rep. Paul Ryan's budget yesterday.
And as you may have read, Ryan Costello, the Republican running for Congress in the PA 6th district stated that he "praised aspects" of the budget but doesn't tell us which aspects. Slick political answer, right?
It left all of us with some questions for our opponent:
Does Costello praise the drastic changes to Medicare that will force millions of Americans out of the traditional system?
Does Costello praise the cuts to programs like the Veterans Workforce Investment Program that would cut job training funding for 3.5 million Americans?
Does Costello praise the across the board cuts to education, eliminating many k-12 programs and freezing college assistance programs like Pell Grants at current levels?
If Ryan Costello thinks he can slip through this campaign without giving hard answers, he clearly doesn't know that he is dealing with someone like you.
So if there is just one action you take today, ask Costello this simple question on twitter:
Hey Ryan, what exactly do you praise about the Ryan Budget?

It is easy for you to do. But it sounds like it may be hard for Mr. Costello to answer.
Thanks,
