Since everything has to start with clear idea I feel I should just throw this out there and see if it has wings.

The DeRevolution is very simple, to remove the money to politician pipeline used to buy their votes. No more long open funded campaigns, everything will be public funded and equal with no private advertising. If the SC will not over turn its two insane rulings then a constitutional amendment that simply states "Legal constructs are not people, only human beings are people." No more PACs and other backhanded ways to route money and influence. That is it. Absolutely no policy, policy is for government and we just want to get the government back to where the people are being represented and policy can be decide as it was intended.

So join The DeRevolution: We are not trying to take the government, we are just trying to take the government back.

See if it has wings stranger things have happened...

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:

press protections for printing the truth. Democratic Party revolutions of the New Deal and civil rights avoided the amendment route and therefore won. Same now, if you're serious, pass the legislation that reforms the system. Confront the Court with the exceptions clause if necessary.  Legislative revolution is how you beat a rogue supramacist court, give them nothing-ignore them and attack their pretended jurisdiction that violates separation of powers.

just getting it out there and if there are better ways to solve the problem in a completely unbiased manner then so be it.

But somebody has to say it and break the spell instead of us all sitting and knowing full well whats going on and yet doing nothing.

would of course fly, if only American politics were as sane as the politics of some other countries. What you suggest is standard policy in New Zealand elections.

I'm missing something simple in what you are trying to convey here. "Absolutely no policy" refers to what exactly? Are you referring to the Supreme Court's activity being aimed at effectively creating policy? I'm confused.

I mean no partisan policy to create wedges between different factions.

Join the DeRevolution: We are not trying to take the country, we are trying to take the country back. Get the money out of politics with public financed campaigns so 'Of the People, By the People and For the People' rings true again.
