Yes, now it is officially (almost) unanimous. Nobody likes “Meet The Press”. No matter how much David Gregory shills for the right wing, over and over. No matter that they try to pass off Harold Ford, Jr. as a “liberal” balance to the stacked ensemble of conservative pundits. Only David Gregory himself and perhaps his mother (and of course, the brass at NBC) could consider that program in any way a news program.
Here is what Fox News has to say on their website (http://www.foxnews.com/...):
A Boston Marathon bombing survivor says in a tweet that she left a Boston television studio in tears before a taping of NBC's "Meet the Press."
Dancer Adrianne Haslet-Davis lost her left foot in the bombing and said Friday she asked the national news program not to mention the suspect's name but the show used it.
NBC News spokeswoman Erika Masonhall says Haslet-Davis was due to take part in a round-table discussion and asked that the suspects' names not be mentioned. Masonhall says given the nature of the discussion "Meet the Press" could not make that guarantee and regrets any distress caused by the miscommunication.
She says the NBC News president left a voicemail for Haslet-Davis apologizing for the confusion.
A message seeking comment was left with a representative for Haslet-Davis.
Isn't it time to remove this Sunday Morning abomination from the air?
