During the past week, highly-trained, uniformed, armed men have been storming police headquarters and other govt. buildings in the Donetsk Oblast of eastern Ukraine. Evidence has been trickling in that these events have been either led and/or instigated by Russian Special Forces.
Now, it seems, Ukraine has had enough, and is launching a coordinated joint police/military operation:

There are likely to be numerous casualties and possibly Russian Special Forces captured and/or killed in this operation. Unconfirmed reports are already coming out that state that there are 11 deaths in Kramatorsk, where the Ukrainian military is storming the airfield. It is a very dangerous situation and the big question now will be whether Putin orders his regular troops massed on the Ukraine border to intervene, which would, in turn, likely devolve into a bloody major war.
