Milton Wolf is, by all reasonable prediction, a nut. Pat Roberts is a Washington veteran.
A 'more conservative' candidate pulls to a 43-39 with Roberts. Wolf isn't recognized by 70+% of the respondents.
So what if we pulled a McCaskill? What if Democrats decided to run ads early in the primary process decrying Milton as "too conservative for Kansas?"
I don't think Sebelius can win against Roberts, but a nutty nobody is someone who she can beat.
If Wolf wins the primary without significant name recognition, Sebelius could beat him, and whatever chance the GOP had at the Senate would be in tatters before the cycle started in earnest.
