Of the crowded field of Republicans running for Governor in Nebraska, they're making a real effort to distinguish themselves since all of them seem to hate Obamacare and would get rid of it immediately right after they lower taxes.
Candidates include:
Republican Party Pete Ricketts - 2006 Senate nominee, former Republican national committeeman, Financial executive, Co-owner of the Chicago Cubs[
Republican Party Tom Carlson - State Senator, District 38
Republican Party Beau McCoy - Member of the Nebraska State Legislature, representing District 39 since 2009]
Republican Party Jon Bruning - Current Attorney General of Nebraska
Republican Party Mike Foley - Nebraska State Auditor
Republican Party Bryan Slone - tax attorney, former Reagan administration official
Beau McCoy thinks he's found a way to make himself standout from this crowd of mental midgets: he's just released an ad where he knocks an Obama bobblehead off a fence which I suppose is to make him look macho. I already hate the guy since he got out front in trying to filibuster the efforts to expand Medicaid in Nebraska. After the expansion failed to get the votes to pass, he was on television smirking away that he managed to deny Nebraskans health care(including my son who would have been eligible but had to settle for paying for premiums).
I find the disrespect for our President by this weasel extremely offensive and I'm not the only one. I visited his Facebook page and although there were a good share of likes, almost all of the comments were from appalled Nebraskans. One of the few defenders doesn't even live in Nebraska-he's a North Dakotan.
I'm not linking the ad since I'm sure there's nothing he'd like better than getting a bunch of hits from outraged "libruls" but if you'd want to comment on his Facebook page or donate to the Democrat he'll face in the general election
Chuck Hassebrook
have at it.
