We're on the verge of losing Democratic control of the Senate — the firewall that has held the line against the reckless Tea Party House of Representatives since 2010.
The numbers are simple: If we're going to Save the Senate from Republican control, we have to keep Republicans from gaining six seats in the 2014 elections.
But the odds are brutal: Already Republicans are favored in five states, and pose a serious threat in as many as eight more.1
That's why CREDO SuperPAC is launching a grassroots voter mobilization campaign in 2014 to defeat Republican Senate candidates in five key states and Save the Senate.
Launching grassroots campaigns in statewide races is a huge undertaking. The support of CREDO activists like you will determine how big we can build this — how many offices we can open in each state, how many staff we can hire, how many volunteers we can mobilize, how many voters we can reach.
We need to raise $200,000 in April to get this campaign started at scale. Chip in $10.00 now to jumpstart this grassroots effort to Save the Senate.

This is the type of election where grassroots voter mobilization can make the difference between winning and losing — in multiple states. And the fate of the Senate will potentially be on the line in each race.
It's hard to overstate how much of a threat this represents, in these elections, and beyond.
Remember — in 2008, Senator Al Franken was elected to the Senate with a margin of a mere 312 votes. CREDO volunteers could be the margin that makes the difference in key Senate races this year.
CREDO SuperPAC is launching a two-pronged approach to Save the Senate, using the proven, volunteer-driven, grassroots voter contact model used in 2012 to defeat five of the worst Tea Party incumbents (and come within 4,000 votes of defeating Michele Bachmann).
CREDO SuperPAC will hold the line and make sure Republican challengers don't pick up Democratic seats in contested races in Michigan, Colorado and North Carolina.
CREDO SuperPAC will go on the offense, challenging the Republican open seat in Georgia, and in Kentucky, where Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell's unpopularity is a huge opportunity to hold him accountable.
Data and experimentation have shown repeatedly that volunteer-driven, voter contact operations are the most persuasive and cost-effective way to drive voters to the polls to vote against Republicans. CREDO SuperPAC will open local field offices, hire dozens of organizers, and mobilize thousands of volunteers to deliver our message.
And if resources permit, we'll also set up out-of-state volunteer offices, to mobilize volunteers in states that don't have competitive Senate races to reach even more key voters, and possibly expand our universe of states.
We don't need tens of millions of dollars to put a bunch of TV ads on the air. But it will take millions of dollars to build this campaign to scale, and it will take time. How big we can build this is up to activists like you.
The fate of the Senate is on the line. Chip in $10.00 now to Save the Senate from being hijacked by Tea Party values.
