From The Star-Ledger:
About a year after the federal government allocated $1.8 billion to New Jersey to rebuild after Hurricane Sandy, the state has distributed less than a quarter of the disaster relief aid, according to a new report.
State officials, however, claim they are making “tremendous progress” with recovery programs. More than $1.3 billion of the roughly $1.8 billion allocated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development is "in the pipeline or out the door," according to the state’s most recent performance report.
By the end of March, New Jersey had handed out $416 million.

Meanwhile Christie sees fit to attend events like the WH Correspondents' Dinner last night. He gets to live it up while hoarding federal relief money (OUR money!) so he can use it for kick-backs or retribution or god knows what. While his constituents still wait to return to their homes.
And he has the unmitigated chutzpah to blame "Federal red tape".
What an asshole! Patience... (He's going down soon)
