After reading FBI Finally Show Up! Bundy's Thugs Suddenly Deny They Pointed Weapons at Federal Agents (LMFAO) I decided to go to the facebook page of the one called "Polar Assault" to verify that the screenshot in the article was true. Upon finding the page and 'person' to be real, I could not help but to comment on one of his more recent posts. This is the result of the "conversation".

The above are snips of Polar Assault's original post.

This is the first part of my "conversation" with him. It shows what I initially commented.

And this was his first reply to me. And just to confirm, my name is real and not "bot generated", smh.

This is what I, in turn, said.

And I decided to not reply back, he obviously found himself backed against the wall to start calling me, and the others that were replying, trolls and to threaten reporting me, and the others not included in my snips, to Facebook. Lol, anyone who doesn't agree with this guy and his extremist buddies are trolls it seems.

But if you would like to see the rest of the post, go here to his Facebook page. It is bound to still be there, visible to the Public, where everyone on the internet can see and comment on.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

He's right. It doesn't have much, if anything, to do with cows.

And your approach to argumentation doesn't earn you any credits or recs. Jeez - besides hurling insults you are arguing over who had the "worse" winter? No,he wasn't "backed against the wall" - he decided to quit wasting time with you.

Going off on a tangent about cold weather was a little disappointing to read. I read this diary hoping to see a smackdown to "polar assault" but that didn't really happen. Who gives a fuck about the cows. It would have been nice to see someone call out their broken fucking logic about federal government being illegitimate yet being enamored by the 2nd amendment. Or how about asking them why Cliven Bundy gets to reap huge profits by letting his cattle graze on federally managed land for fucking free before they go to market and most likely benefitting from government subsidization of wealthy farmers through the Farm Bill. I was really hoping someone would call them out about supporting bundys "ancestral rights" to the land his family purchased in nineteen fifty-fucking-six for fucks sake. But hey, the diarist was able to throw in how cold the weather was in cleveland this past winter and that was supposed to really illustrate this guys fuckery somehow. No wonder these guys are so emboldened, they never hear anything worth a shit from the sane part of America. If I had a FB page I would be tempted to go engaged this fuck stick "polar assault" but then I would have to concede my stature as the last remaining millenial in the world without a fb page. But I applaud the effort I guess.

    •  It's got EVERYTHING to do with THIEVERY (0+ / 0-)

using those cows as the method.

Catte Nappe, do you live somewhere near pastured cattle?
Check whether the owners get to spend $3 per month per animal for their pasture rent, or what the mortgage payments and taxes on their pasture cost if they own the land (this is the first way Cliven Bundy's thievery cheats).

The lies he piles on his refusal to pay fees he owes, while raking off subsidies for his melon farm, are just icing on the cake of Bundy's crapitude.

      •  Granted, his thievery is massive. (0+ / 0-)

But what this is about is trying to deligitimize the federal government. Polar Assault isn't up there camping out because he cares a damn about cows or Bundy's profits or anything other than challenging the government.

They're committing felony-level weapons-grade stupidity on an ongoing basis.

think he's a hero because he lived through a winter. If you don't like her style, why don't you go argue on the guy's Facebook page.
The Bundy thing was all about cows - Bundy making his money by grazing his cattle on land that doesn't belong to him.

      •  It isn't about cows anymore (1+ / 0-)

Polar Assault and his buddies aren't hanging out there because of cows.

    •  I call bull - er - cowshit on that. (0+ / 0-)

Bundy and his enablers are trying to polish a cow turd into something "noble", but it's ALL about cows.  Or, if you want to be picky, it's all about money. Which, in this case, means cows and "free" grazing.

His current dispute started when grazing fees were raised in 1993.  He decided to stop paying them at all.  I haven't heard of any other ranchers refusing to pay.  The federal rate for grazing is $1.35/head/month.  That's way below fair market rates.  So, ironically, Bundy's getting a government subsidy for his grazing costs.

And if Bundy was consistent in his belief that the US government doesn't exist, why doesn't he fly the state flag?  Why is the flag of the government that he doesn't recognize displayed so prominently?

Bundy is just another opportunist looking for a way to scam something for free.  And, BTW, his "ancestral rights" argument is full of crap too.  But, like a four yr old, since he doesn't like the decision, he ignores the source of the decision.  Bundy's direct family bought the land in 1948. The family didn't start grazing cattle on the land until 1954. He claims some vague, 2 or 3 generation removed link as his basis for his current ancestral rights.  Of course, the claims of the Paiute nation on the land in question are completely ignored, since that would be inconvenient.

Quick question: what does a conservative mean when he calls a judge an "activist"?  Answer: he means a judge who reached a decision that he doesn't like.

It's all about justifying selfish and criminal behavior.  Just like the ongoing agricultural subsidies in the recent Farm Bill, which were left intact at the same time food stamps were cut.
