Last week al-Nusra shut down the main pumping station which supplies Aleppo with water, leaving the city without water for at least eight days.
Reportedly al-Nusra has tried to restart the pumps in the past few days but without much success.

On Thursday dozens of people (reports range from 29 to 43) were killed in a bomb blast at the Bab al-Salameh border crossing which is north of Aleppo - Kilis is on the Turkish side of the border crossing.
The border crossing was under the control of the ISIS but is currently under the control of another radical Islamic rebel group and the ISIS has been trying to retake control.
