Senator John McCombover is up to his old trick of forgetting that he lost the election for President to the other guy and is busily recommending a totally unsuitable candidate to replace Eric Shineski. Set aside for a moment Coburn's utter unsuitability and let's examine Sen. McBile's record as a judge of character.
Exhibit A: His pick as a running-mate, Caribou Barbie.
"We've got a spectacular running mate here that has really captured America," the Arizona senator told "World News" anchor Charles Gibson in an exclusive interview in St. Paul today. McCain said that his choice has "an incredible resume including a beautiful family."
"She is experienced, she's talented, she knows how to lead and she has been vetted by the people of the state of Alaska," McCain said.
"Americans are going to be very, very, very pleased," McCain said. "She's really going to have a remarkable impact on the American people. … I'm very excited."
Weren't we all, John, weren't we all.
Exhibit B: Joe (whose name isn't 'Joe') The Plumber (he wasn't a 'plumber''):
McCain introduced Wurzelbacher as “an American hero, a great citizen of Ohio and my role model.”
Remind me, Senator: why in God's name would anyone on earth listen to your opinion on anything at all?
