I can't say that I blame him:

Want to make Harry Reid laugh? Ask him what he thinks about Scott Brown's chances of returning to the Senate.
The Senate majority leader takes the challenges Democrats face this election cycle quite seriously, even as he remains bullish about the party's prospects. He just isn't sweating Brown's efforts to unseat Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.). In fact, the mere prospect of that happening left him laughing out loud during a recent interview, after HuffPost asked if the Republicans' ability to expand the Senate contest to some traditionally blue states made it more difficult for Democrats to hold red state seats.
HuffPost: Are you nervous that with Republicans expanding to Colorado, Michigan and New Hampshire, it will that take away [Democratic resources] from Arkansas?
Reid: New Hampshire?
HuffPost: They would like to think so.
Reid: Hahahaha.
HuffPost: You don't think Scott Brown will pull this one out?
Reid: Um ... We're doing fine in Michigan. We're doing fine in Iowa. Colorado, I think [Sen.] Mark Udall is just an exceptionally good candidate. - Huffington Post, 7/1/14
Again, I can't blame him but we all know he's taking it seriously. Recent polling has given Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D. NH) a ten point lead but Brown has still been raising money:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/...
Former senator Scott Brown (R-Mass.) raised more than $2 million between April and June for his U.S. Senate campaign in New Hampshire, a campaign aide confirmed to Post Politics, a hefty sum for the underdog challenger.
The second-quarter fundraising period came to a close Monday. It's Brown's first full quarter as a Senate candidate in New Hampshire. His campaign did not say how much money he had on hand. At the end of March, Brown had about $275,000 in the bank.
Brown was a productive fundraiser as a candidate for Senate in Massachusetts in 2010 and and 2012. His latest fundraising total was first reported by WMUR. - Washington Post, 7/1/14
That's not bad but Shaheen has a master fundraiser on her side:

US Senator Elizabeth Warren, who beat Republican Scott Brown in Massachusetts in 2012, is set to headline a fund-raiser on Monday in Boston for New Hampshire US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, the incumbent Brown is running to unseat, according to an invitation obtained by the Globe.
Warren, in her first in-person fund-raising event for Shaheen this year, will help shake the money-tree for her fellow Democrat at a breakfast event. The requested donation levels range from $1,000 for an individual to $5,200 for a host, according to the invite.
The fund-raiser benefits Shaheen Victory Fund 2014, a joint political committee of Shaheen’s campaign, and the New Hampshire Democratic Party, the invitation says.
Warren has previously helped raised money for Shaheen via e-mail pitches.
In April, after Brown said he would make his bid to unseat Shaheen official, Warren spoke briefly about the race.
“This will be up to the people of the Commonwealth ... whoops, this will be up to the people of New Hampshire,” Warren said, laughing. “But I think Scott Brown is going to have his hands full.” - Boston Globe, 6/27/14
And Democrats are hitting Brown over this:
http://www.necn.com/...
A day ahead of the big endorsement announcement, Democrats from Massachusetts and New Hampshire tried to downplay former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney's decision to support Republican Scott Brown for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire.
"They both have one thing in common, a commitment to corporations over people," said Thomas McGee, chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, in a conference call with media members on Tuesday afternoon. "A pair of failed Massachusetts politicians who own summer homes in New Hampshire."
McGee, who served with Brown in the Massachusetts House and Senate, called his former colleague "a good guy" but also said he was "pretty disengaged" with the political process.
Ray Buckley, chairman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, also piled on, saying New Hampshire residents have gotten to know Brown pretty well since he moved full-time to his summer home in Rye last year.
"He tried to convince us he cares about New Hampshire," he said. "(But) Big Oil and Wall Street special interests are who he sides with."
Buckley called it "insulting" that Brown is "shipping in" Romney "to tell Granite Staters what they need." - NECN, 7/1/14
