Bruce Rossley, Chair, Democrats Abroad-
San Miguel de Allende, Terry Hertz, artist
The ninth annual Fourth of July Party sponsored by the
San Miguel de Allende Chapter of Democrats Abroad was a sellout; it drew a record crowd of 200 people. Several works by local artists were raffled off, and live music was provided by the
High Desert Rangers, a local folk music group. The usual burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, and cole slaw were served.
One highlight of the party was a rendition of Todd Snider's
Conservative, Christian, Right-Wing Republican, Straight, White American Male by the High Desert Rangers. A lot of the people present knew the words to it.
