Unscheduled diaries in planning/drafting stage are: ■ fibromyalgia treatment ■ dyslexia ■ more on music for wellbeing ■ ...and whatever you our members have on your mind that you'd like to write about! New to diary writing? New Diarists is a wonderful group to ask questions, get answers, learn, practice, and find coaches/mentors, all at your own pace.
ShoshannaD, who's started a Get Out The Vote 2014 group and diary series of how-to and who's-doing-it, is looking for writers to compose or collaborate on a diary for the end of July about effectively getting differently abled, disabled, housebound and chronically ill people registered and voting —especially for states that obstruct absentee ballots. Contact her if you'd like to work on that diary.Click on the link to her page or group to "follow" those diaries (for newcomers, that means her diaries will be listed in your Stream in your WelcomeBack box, top right corner of every DK page). |
KosAbility is a Sunday 7pm eastkost/4pm leftkost volunteer diarist series, as a community for people living with disabilities, who love someone with a disability, or who want to know more about the issues. Our use of "disability" includes temporary as well as permanent conditions, from small, gnawing health/medicl problems to major, life-threatening ones. Our use of "love someone" extends to cherished members of other species.
Our discussions are open threads in the context of this community. Feel free to comment on the diary topic, ask questions of the diarist or generally to everyone, share something you've learned, tell bad jokes, post photos, or rage about your situation. Our only rule is to be kind; trolls will be spayed or neutered. If you are interested in contributing a diary, contact series coordinator postmodernista.
