Turkish media have reported breaking news that 15 Palestinian civilians were killed a short time ago this evening when the IDF fired missiles at the home of the Gaza police chief.
The missiles reportedly exploded near the entrance to a mosque which is near or next to the police chief's home and from which people were leaving after evening prayers.

The AP is reporting at least 18 were killed and 50 were wounded and that some are believed to be trapped under rubble.

GAZA CITY — As international calls for a cease-fire ramped up, the Israeli military warned residents of northern Gaza to evacuate "for their own safety" late Saturday night.
In a statement, the Israeli military said it would send messages to northern Gaza residents overnight to leave their homes as Israel planned to hit the area with heavy force in the next 24 hours, according to Brig. Gen. Motti Almoz, chief military spokesman.
In the Gaza Strip, 15 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike near a mosque as residents were ending evening prayers, said Ashraf al-Qidra, spokesman for the Palestinian Health Ministry. The strike marks the single deadliest airstrike in the five-day offensive that has left 135 dead and another 920 injured, according to al-Qidra.

Shortly after the Israeli announcement, an Israeli warplane struck the home of the Gaza police chief, Taysir al-Batsh, killing at least 18 people and wounding 50, said Health Ministry official Ashraf al-Kidra. He said worshippers were leaving the mosque after evening prayers at the time of the strike and that some people are believed to be trapped under the rubble.

11:05 P.M. 15 Palestinian are killed in an IDF strike on the home of Gaza's police chief Tayseer Al-Batsh, among them women and children, the Gaza Heatlh Ministry reports. According to medical sources, 35 wounded arrived at the Strip's hospitals. According to eyewitnesses, Israeli aircraft fired at least two rockets at the house, which was completely destroyed.
