Daily Kos Radio's Kagro in the Morning show podcasts are now available through iTunes.

OK, yes, we were back on the "air" live yesterday. But we didn't have Greg Dworkin with us, so it doesn't count!

We'll we're fixin' to... er... fix that, today. There was probably a better way to say that, but the point is, Greg will be back on the air, bringing you the top political news and headlines enjoyed by normal people the world around. Not the crazy garbage I dig up.

We're also pleased to welcome back the sponsorship of Harrys.com, which means that you can once again save $5 on your first order of some damn fine shaving products when you use the promo code KAGRO.

Listen LIVE at 9:00 ET, here: The Daily Kos Radio Player

Listen to Stitcher
Stitcher's got a new revenue-sharing program for shows wiht more than 5,000 "active listeners" in a month.

What's an "active listener?" Believe it or not, it's someone who listens to at least 30 seconds of a show, once in a month.

Hey, I don't make the rules!

So, how about giving us 30 seconds of your life? Head on over to our KITM archive on Stitcher, listen to 30 seconds' worth, and then after that, your time is your own. If I were you, I'd keep listening after that, but only because I'm you, not me. If I'm me, I don't have to listen, because I already know what I said.

But that's not the point. The point is, you can convert 30 seconds of your time into dollars for our show.

Miss our last LIVE show? I mean our real, honest-to-God live show from yesterday? You can catch it here:

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?
Are you sure you want to remove your recommendation? You can only recommend a diary once, so you will not be able to re-recommend it afterwards.

  •  And a reminder for folks, and a request - (0+ / 0-)

Please read & share this diary from the other day about the North American Indian Center of Boston:

Foundations cast in stone and spirit: NAICOB

The building they've called home needs work - and some of the funding they've depended upon to help with maintenance and upkeep have been lost, until the maintenance and upkeep is complete. Plus, they can't move forward into some other exciting initiatives in their support of the Greater Boston area Native American communities and people until some of the work is done.

The crowdfunding effort will run for 60 days (now 58), so helping them spread the word will greatly increase their chances of hitting - or even coming close to - their goal.

I'll be diarying more on it in the coming weeks, and anyone else who can help by writing a diary to help support their effort is welcomed to join in.

    Thank you.
