You have Phil Gingrey who says Immigrants have Ebola. You have Louie Gohmert urging Texas to Declare War on the Undocumented, because that's Consitutional isn't it? And then you get the obligatory "No Illeagles" graffiti in Maryland.
And now you have Michele Bachman who says that Immigrant Children trying to escape violence and murder in Central America are like Rapists, Murderers and Wild Driving Manslaughterers.

“Foreign nationals that have come into the United States are between 300- to 500,000,” Bachmann told an incredulous Crossfire co-host Van Jones. “My heart is broken for a female college student in Minnesota who was raped, murdered and mutilated by a foreign national who came into our country. We had a school bus full of kids in Minnesota — four children were killed on that school bus because an illegal alien driving a van went into that schoolbus.”
Cuz, um, what?
To his credit Van tried to do the compassionate thing, which is to clearly delineate between Rapists, Murderers and other Criminals and the 57,000 kids who have tried to escape to U.S. for sanctuary and asylum.
“There are lines that can’t be crossed here,” Jones responded. “I’m sorry, congresswoman. Are you gonna scapegoat children for the crime of this despicable person?”
“We should stand with those children, but we should not scapegoat every one of these kids for that despicable crime,” he said. “You know better as a congressperson than to lay at the feet of these children the acts of a despicable criminal.”
Yeah, but that didn't really deter or distract Bachmann.
“My tears are crying for the family members who lost four little children on a school bus in Minnesota,” Bachmann continued, before ceding the floor to Jones for a second.
“Don’t scapegoat the American people,” Bachmann countered. “Van, don’t scapegoat the American people right now who are losing jobs.”
Bachmann, who has taken 23 foster children into her family, also described the increase in “unaccompanied minors” primarily from El Salvador, Nicaragua and Honduras as an “invasion.”
“We have foreign nationals who are coming across the border from countries like Yemen, Iran, Iraq,” she said.
Yemen, Iran, Iraq? That's not who were dealing with in Texas and Arizona right now. It's just
Not.
According to RawStory.com the car crash she's talking about took place in 2008 - five years ago - involving an undocumented driver and four children who were killed (two 9-year-old boys, a 12-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old boy riding on the bus) but exactly how those children are related to the children that are overflowing in detention centers after fleeing the narco-state that Central America has become is just aboutt as clear as Mud.
The fact is that these kids are fleeing Horror, Murder and Terrorism.
"‘I arrived, just to save my own life"...said 17-year-old Maria.
MSNBC was unable to verify Maria’s story, but the general details echo the accounts of other immigrants — children fleeing gangs after being forced to sell drugs, experiencing rape or death threats for failing to comply with the sexual wishes of gang members.
MSNBC connected with Maria through an organization in South Florida that works with undocumented immigrants. “I asked her if she would be willing to come on, the story she tells is just gut wrenching,” Díaz-Balart said, adding that he expects to incorporate more immigrant voices in his MSNBC program. “On Telemundo, we cover it more consistently, and daily, but I don’t see why it’s that much more different,” he explained. “MSNBC and all of the folks of the show were nothing but supportive of this, it’s America reflected.”
And this is how we great these kids, with Michele Bachmann and Louie Gohmert?
I'm embarrassed for the humanity and compassion of my nation. This is a disgrace.
