DIBOLL, TX (KTRK) -- Sunday, July 20, 2014
The ceiling of a building at a correctional center in Diboll collapsed Saturday, injuring more than a dozen offenders.
Offered with minimal comment:
Ceiling-collapses-at-correctional-center ABC Channel 13's Foti Kallergis reports that a primarily sheetrock ceiling collapsed and injured 19 of the 86 people housed in the unit. The minimum security unit is used for inmates over 50 years old.
The 518-bed minimum-security prison is operated by Centerville, Utah-based Management & Training Corp.
Not to worry, though, the "Texas Department of Criminal Justice is sending a team to assess the situation." So surely it'll be all right soon. /snark
