Random thoughts of the day:
St. Louis seriously needs to calm down. Yes, this was a tragedy. The black community has every right to be angry but let's let the facts come out. Let's also hope that they DO come out, fully and completely. And, by the way, Al Sharpton. don't even think of getting involved. You're causing enough trouble right now in NYC.
Meanwhile, another drive-by in New Orleans and they will probably just yawn. There's a place, as well as Chicago, for those who've had enough to take and demand action. Peacefully, of course, but action none the less. Somebody check the calendar. It's looking a lot like 1968 out there.
A sign memorializing a nun killed in a hit and run has been removed in little Water Mill, NY because the townspeople found it depressing. Sheesh! What have we become, people?
Now Putin is sending a humanitarian convoy into Ukraine. Why do I get a picture in my mind of the Trojan Horse?
Drug abuse is up among American workers. Frankly, I don't totally blame them. Maybe Mel Brooks was right when he blamed our troubles on the spinning of the Earth. We all need to get a serious grip on things.
Until next time, Kossacks.
