So it's some kind of fog, whether the fog of CN gas or paramilitary behavior by various SWAT teams that hopefully will be reined in now that the Missouri Highway Patrol and its Troop C Commander is supposed to take charge of the police controlling Ferguson Missouri. Initial reports had Mya Aaten-White being hit either by an actual rifle/pistol round or a tear gas shell. Anyone watching the CNN video last night can see that such shells were being launched close to civilians as well as into residential yards on Wednesday evening.
The video depicts a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri admitting that someone had been shot in the head. Before he could say too much, the other officer tries to physically shut him up. It is symbolic as the entire police force seeks to silence much more than that.

Howard University alumna Mya Aaten-White said she was shot in the head while protesting in Ferguson, Missouri, Wednesday.
Aaten-White, a 2012 graduate of Howard, posted an Instagram photo of herself bloodied and bandaged in the back of an ambulance Wednesday. Her condition is unknown.
Several hours later, she posted that she had been "shot in the head," was "in custody" and her life was "intact."
A Howard University spokeswoman who knew Aaten-White confirmed the Instagram photo was Aaten-White and said the university is aware of her injury.
No information was available about who may have shot Aaten-White, or whether the incident was related to the protests.
As the protests have consumed Ferguson for the last five days, information from the Ferguson police about specific cases has been scarce. Aaten-White was not mentioned in a Ferguson police press conference today; the police department phones have rung busy throughout the day.
According to her LinkedIn page, Aaten-White had been living and working in St. Louis as a legal assistant.
Crime-rate data for Ferguson MO
this could be the incident or it could be conflated:
08/13/2014 12:55 AM.
Shooting/Stabbing. County PD O/S w/ EMS, woman with GSW to head from drive-by. 4-5 male perps w/ rifles.
MO State Highway Patrol of course has its own fleet of aircraft and its own armored vehicles
9:54 PM PT: Fortunately a peaceful turn of events coincident with the logical control of the investigation going to the FBI, the logical step for on-ground control going to the next bureaucratic level in the light of tear-gas-happy STL County Police to the regional state police which coincidentally has an African American commander for the troop responsible for the specific region.
