A young man acting strangely, asking young women if they want to fxxxx. A young man
tells 2 police officers approaching him, he hopes they die. This young man has done this 11 times.
Each time, the police have taken this young man by force sometimes to a mental hospital.
Once a friend of this young man was swinging a large knife at officers. They waited
a minute, the fire department showed up and blasted this young man with water knocking him to the ground;
A high power water hose is great when you want to dis-arm someone.
Many times, the father of the first young man is called by the police to tell him where
his son is.
The father of this young man is me. The young man knocked to the ground by water,
was a native american friend of my son's.
Am I an important person? No, I am far from that. Is my son somebody special in the
community? No, far from it. He is a mentally ill crack addict who want's cops to die.
My son and I have one thing going right for us, we are white.
Many officers tell me there are many ways to deal with the mentally ill. Once
they offered my son a coat and a sandwich. he calmed down.
Look closely at film coming from Missouri when you see the 2nd black man die.
The event took less than 30 seconds from when the police arrived and the young man is
dead. No attempt is made to negotiate, or use any other
way of dealing with an ill man.
Racism doesn't just happen in Missouri. The events recently, however,
show no effort is made to save a life. I suggest had these 2 young men killed were
white, the outcome would have been different.
I once thought in 2014, out nation had evolved from dealing with the color of a person's
skin to have any significance to anything. I was wrong. Racism is alive and well in
our Country, had our president been white, Congress would have treated him
with the respect. His wife would not have been called a whore, as the Montana
Republican's called Mrs. Obama at their 2012 state convention.
Technology has advanced our society in way's no one dreamed of in my life time. As
a people, our world still does barbaric things. We treat people differently because
of the color of their skin. In other parts of the world, we slowly cut people's heads off.
Missouri police have shown the world their racism, un-caring of a human life without
white skin.
I have no idea when that will bother white people in that state. Thousands of dollars
have been raised for the coward policeman and indifference has been shown to the death of the young black men.
I apologize to the parents of the murdered young men and I am lucky my son is white
and doesn't live in Missouri.
