The VISN MAP for all VA Facilities.
USA today came out today with Flagged VA's and FBI Investigations. Gainesville has a wait list of over 4000 veterans to be seen.
FLORIDA
Malcom Randall VAMC
Gainesville, Fla.
4,006 new patients on waiting list
Gainesville IS getting money and there is something stinking here in Florida and Scott has his fingers in here somewhere...Enough to sue the VA for access. Anyone who pleads the 5th 75 times on Medicare fraud, HCA monopoly on Healthcare and yet
State courts set up on Psych Wards in a Federal Facility that is not a Baker Act Receiving facility....Bank on it. Oh I so hope the FBI marches into that facility that is not ADA compliant in many areas structurally, limited ADA access on Handicap parking. They are also denying 76 year old vets healthcare, denying blind vets rides to facilities, stroke victims, no mode of transportation to VA facilities, shipping off vets requesting care at the VA and then shipping them off to one of the HCA private hospitals. After the mistreatment at a private facility, the private facility then sending bills to the veteran or Medicare. Topping that off, there is no written contract between the VA and many of these Psych hospital which are state controlled.
FBI PLEASE !!!!!!!!
Check out this interactive map and tell me the good ole boy is not in full force here in North Florida at Malcom Randall and then look at the state privatazing and watch Miller squeal about the President not doing enough. I call you out Rep. Miller. This is what privatization looks like !!!! FLORIDA.....FLORIDA....FLORIDA......
Just look at this interactive map of the VA's nationwide and look at Florida. This was posted in USA Today.

Look at SemDem's diary in the past with Scott influence.

From Sem Dem's diary:
The agency that awards these contracts is the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, or the AHCA. The article doesn't make clear what the AHCA is or who runs it. The agency manages the state Medicaid program and regulates our state hospitals. The head is appointed by the governor. In March 2011, Rick Scott picked a lackey for this spot named Elizabeth Dudek.
Dudek is a vocal supporter of Rick Scott. She features him on the ACA home page, which no other non-executive agency does. Last year, when Scott came under fire for making up outrageous estimates for Medicaid expansion, (deemed false by Politifact), Dudek pretty much said "F__ my reputation" and supported his bogus numbers with no basis whatsoever.
Under her, patient complaints have grown as hospitals have been allowed to gouge and aggressively bill. (By the way, remember HCA? That was Rick Scott's company involved in the $1.7 billion Medicare fraud where he took the Fifth 75 times. Coincidentally, HCA is now raking in record profits due to turning away patients, aggressive billing, and cutting staff to dysfunctional levels. Well-played.)
But that's not the worst of it.
Florida moved Medicaid into so-called “managed care,” which carves up the state into 11 regions where private insurers can compete to serve Medicaid patients in those districts.
Why in the name of all that is good and decent is the FBI ignoring this cruelty in North Florida, South Ga? Does Jeff Miller and his tea party have that much power? Really?
Miller and the Republican teahats are saying, look at how bad the VA is and we need to privatize it ! Well it has mostly been privatized in the State of Florida and we got a lot of clickish, do it good ole boy way and what you have is a pile of Dog Dung. No one is overseeing this mess, except the flies in the Tea Party.
Governor Scott said, “As the chief health policy and planning entity for the state that licenses, inspects, and investigates consumer complaints, AHCA should be allowed access to federal VA hospitals to inspect their processes and their facilities. On seven separate occasions at six federal VA hospitals, however, state inspectors have been blocked by federal officials from carrying out their mission of ensuring facilities in Florida meet the healthcare needs of our veterans. I have asked AHCA to sue the federal veterans affairs agency to shine a light on their activities and protect the lives of our heroes who have earned nothing short of access to the best care possible.”
Sounds like he cares doesn't it? It's Machavellian I tell you !!!! The neglect has been in his private facilities all along. The Vines is one such State Facility.

I know deep in my head that Scott and the Tea Party are behind Florida's mess of Veteran healthcare but we need the FBI to follow the money if they have to turn Florida upside down.
