Ah the joyous assessment of a bible thumping turd, by the way this is a double down on his comments when filling in for the oxycontin blowhard [warning redstate link and Erick Erickson]
But if you are in your thirties, making minimum wage in a career, and standing on the street demanding the government do something about it, yes, yes you have failed at life.
Yes, but what they fail to notice is just how much success has been built upon people paying the absolute minimum possible and afterwards giving corporate executives as much as possible for the success. So part of society relies on the failure of the many to enrich the few.
What is wrong about people demanding a livable wage for work?
Really what is wrong with that?
Corporations avoid tax like the plague even those taxes pay for the infrastructure, the health and education of the very people that they rely on to be successful.
The rich scream to high heaven about supporting the very system that made them rich in the first place.
Then they deem those that they rely on to present the public face of their industry to the customer as being worthless and in fact "losers". [The 47%]
Seriously what is wrong with these people?
We bail out the rich who through every fault of their own nearly crashed the whole economy, yet we balk at helping those that they ran over with the bus.
Never mind the carnage lower down, stocks are rising and heaven forbid we tax the profits of no work [capital gains]. Paying someone the absolute minimum is something we must protect at all cost to generate these self same capital gains.
Fuck these judgmental assholes, they really have no idea what the reality is for those struggling to get by.
Losers? I'll tell you who the losers are, those that sold their puerile souls to Mammon.
