In entertainment: hate sells, fearmongering sells and comedy sells.
Fox News hires clowns to spew hate and fear 24/7. The biggest Fox Clown is Roger Ailes. For Ailes, selling hatred for Muslims is high on his list of hate to sell on Fox News.
Roger Ailes has a deep seeded hatred of a lot of groups, including but not limited to a deep seeded hatred for Muslims. In 2011, Tim Dickenson of Rolling Stone Magazine wrote that Roger Ailes put the entire Fox News on "lockdown” after “observing a dark-skinned man in what Ailes perceived to be Muslim garb.”
Roger Ailes keeps a monitor on his desk that allows him to view any activity outside his closed door. Once, after observing a dark-skinned man in what Ailes perceived to be Muslim garb, he put Fox News on lockdown. “What the hell!” Ailes shouted. “This guy could be bombing me!” The suspected terrorist turned out to be a janitor. “Roger tore up the whole floor,” recalls a source close to Ailes. “He has a personal paranoia about people who are Muslim – which is consistent with the ideology of his network.”
Megyn Kelly and her Exec Producer, Tom Lowell are two other Fox Clowns. Tom Lowell is so eager to sell hate and fear that he got pissed when one of Megyn Kelly's Islamaphob, fearmongering segments was pulled over concerns for the guest's personal safety.
The guest, Noor, who claims he went to the same Mosque as the Oklahoma man who beheaded a co-worker, was to remain anonymous during the interview so he was shrouded in darkness.
Prior to the interview, the anonymous guest, Noor, told Fox he did not need his voice distorted. However, after the interview, the guest, Noor, apparently got nervous and said he did not want his actual voice being aired. Therefore, one of the show's producers pulled the video over concern's of Noor's personal safety and did not run the segment.
That's when Tom Lowell got pissed.
In an email exchange with Talking Points Memo, Lowell wrote that he, nor management give a damn about the guest's personal safety.
Lowell wrote: “‘Noor’ knowingly agreed to appear on The Kelly File in silhouette and was given the option to disguise his voice, which he chose not to do. Following the interview, ‘Noor’ expressed apprehension about his voice not being disguised and in response, a producer removed the video out of concern for the guest’s personal safety . This was an error in judgment. Once management was made aware of the situation, the video was put back up in its original form.”
(emphasis added)
"...
an error in judgment" ... pulling the segment over concerns for the guest's personal safety was an "
error in judgement" and "
Once management was made aware of the situation, the video was put back up in its original form.”
Fox News Insider sold the Islamaphobic interview with this huge, scary headline:
CHILLING: Man Who Attended Okla. Beheading Suspect's Mosque Reveals Radical Teachings
Chilling....
Fox News insider wrote about the "chilling" interview this way
Fox News Kelly Interview Ex-Member of Okla. Beheading Suspect's Mosque. Fox News 'The Kelly File' Megyn Kelly 10/1/2014.
(Fox News Insider) A man who says he went to the same mosque as the Oklahoma beheading suspect revealed shocking new information tonight on “The Kelly File.”
So what was so "chilling" that Tom Lowell decided to screw the guest's personal safety and run the segment anyway?
Well, Noor was going to tell Fox viewers that:
- the Oklahoma mosque secretly -- oooww secretly -- promoted "jihad,"
- supported Hamas bombing Israel,
- they would "protect" Usama bin Laden if he ever showed up at their door.
Wow! Lowell wanted to get all those great, scary words in:
jihad, Hamas, Bin Laden. No way would he concern himself with the personal safety of the guest.
In one exchange, the anonymous Noor told Fox viewers that they "do jihad by steal." That sounds scary, can't let this segment get pulled.
Megyn Kelly: Did the mosque talk about speaking differently in front of the media?
Noor: “Absolutely. When they cannot do jihad physically, they attempt to do jihad by means of stealth, by endearing themselves to the media, endearing themselves to government, endearing themselves to the American people to slowly work their way in.”
(emphasis added)
I wonder if "
jihad by steal" is anything like Fox News' approach to "
sell hate by stealth?"
Yeah, so not only does Tom Lowell not give a fig about the personal safety of guest's, Tom Lowell knows his viewers are stupid little sheep who intoxicate themselves with the hate Fox sells.
Oh well ....
On Twitter, Megyn Kelly and fellow Fox Clown: Charles Kraphammer is pissed that the beheading was not immediately labeled a "terror attack." (smh)
That caused another Twitter to ask if President H.W. Bush called it a "terror attack" when Jeffery Dahmer beheaded people.
Fox Clown Dana Perino is used to selling lies and tweeted.
I suppose it could be argued that one reason Fox News is nothing but a hatemongering, fearmongering channel is to satisfy Roger Ailes deep hatred and deep paranoia he has against: gays, women, Muslims etc.
I've always considered Fox a low-rent entertainment channel, and the admission from Lowell that Fox was more concerned with selling hatred toward Muslims than their guest's personal safety only underscores, for me, that Fox is a vile, low-rent entertainment channel.
