It was a glorious 72 degree day to hang out on a brew pub's patio, sip beverages, and meet a few Kossacks! We did all of that at our Four Corners Kossack meet-up! Since the internet rule is "Pics or it didn't happen!", join us down below the orange beer foam for the proof.
First a word about our host destination, Carver's Brewing Company, on Main Ave in Durango.
They have a long history of supporting Democrats & Democratic meet-ups in town, and were very welcoming of our unknown number of guests prior to the meet-up. They also have a long history of brewing beer, being one of the first licensed brew pubs in Colorado. Their brewing experience shows! Check out the list of house-brewed beers available on Saturday, October 4th!
Mmm. That's a lot of beer! Those Double Black Diamonds are for Experts only!
World's Biggest Bike? Show me a bigger one.
Bikes & beer, Beer & bikes. Durango luvs them some beer. And bikes.
Carver's is a GREEN Brewery! Feel good about washing your hands before leaving the uh, that place.
Especially in the Winter.

Mighty nzanne & your Fella. She's great, and my head isn't really that big...
A really fun, invigorating time was had by all! A bunch of Democrats--Kossacks & lurkers--gathered at a 100% Green Powered local brew pub to meet, kibitz, and trade inside knowledge about our local politics. We exchanged support and renewed our commitment to electing more & better Democrats
THIS YEAR and
THIS ELECTION! Folks all agreed it was 2 hours well spent...even the ones who traveled many miles to get there. And if we can gather this many kossacks for a meet-up out here in the red, RED boonies, you can do it in your area as well. I promise you it will be more fun than you expect, and easier than you'd believe!
Did I mention the beer? Kossacks, beer, and talking local politics & our part in them--what's not to like? We'll save a seat for you at the next meet-up. You'll come by next time, won't you please? We need to fill that patio!
