It's a wild and crazy American way to inspire '
hipsters' of all ages to get out, register, and vote. One of best things about this
Rock The Vote PSA is the importance it places on the upcoming Midterms Elections, and the words are stressed loud and clear at the beginning of the film. Lil Jon, who's on the phone with his Aunt 'G' (Whoopi Goldberg), says,
"It's November 4th. It's Midterm Elections."
"What?"(Aunt G.)
"I'm voting (in the) MIDTERM ELECTIONS - MIDTERM ELECTIONS!"
Highlights include Lena Dunham getting her groove on in front of a voting booth throwing all caution to the wind, and Lil Jon smoking a gigantuous joint throughout the video.

Some of the issues and reasons to vote, that quickly flash between frames, include student loans, immigration, gun sense, police brutality, health reform, climate change, voting rights, animal cruelty, veterans rights, workers rights…
With less than 30 days away from the elections, this is a great refreshing reminder to register and vote. And it does not include dirty partisan politics, which is a turnoff for many. Okay yes, the causes mentioned are predominately Left-leaning, Liberal, and Democratic - at least as far as Republican lawmakers are concerned. But the video is a nice Koch-free way to reach the public. And okay yes,
again, I didn't recognize half of the people in the video - but I imagine my 23-year old daughter will, and I'm hoping it reaches her 'people'.
