A while back I submitted a diary detailing the shenanigans of one Terry Trussell of Cross City Florida, who was recently arrested for ten felony counts including impersonating a public officer, retaliation against a public officer and unlawful use of a simulated legal process. For a quick refresher, here's the link for that diary:

Well Thursday was arraignment day and he did not disappoint. Follow me below the orange web of deception for an update.
His plan originally was to indict the Dixie County School Board (along with Guv/former guvs Scott, Bush, Crist) and a long list of people including Bill Gates and the Mrs., for bribery, child abuse, etc., secondary to Common Core (although he did promise the board he'd recommend leniency if they'd revoke it ASAP). What really got his butt in a sling, however, was when he decided to indict the state attorney for not allowing him to hijack a statutory grand jury he was (temporarily) foreman of. So he created his own. These are known to sovereign citizen types as common law grand juries. They've earned the nickname Grand Slam Juries because Denny's seemed to be a favorite meeting spot. They believe they can indict anybody they disapprove of and indict they did. They even made two trips to Tallahassee, intending to speak with Gov. Scott but ended up talking with the Florida Dept of Law Enforcement instead. Never did it occur to them that the intense interest the agents paid Mr. Trussell and his companion were not the result of a common law induced epiphany but instead the agents taking notes for their investigation of Trussell himself.
In the meantime, Trussell was quite pleased with himself for getting the common law ball rolling, bragging of his success quite freely on sovcit websites and radio shows. But he soon became concerned as the sheriff hadn't yet arrested the state attorney and posted he had "a plan to wake them up." Ironically days later Mr. Trussell himself was arrested by the sheriff as the result of a sworn complaint filed with Judge Hankinson by the very agency (FDLE) that, just a week earlier, he'd bragged of an endorsement.
The following weeks were fairly quiet with one notable exception. As noted earlier, Trussell had filed a couple of what he called true bills with the Dixie County Court Clerk, who, believing he was still a GJ foreman, recorded them in the record books. Those documents were ordered removed once their bogus nature was realized. There was a large movement organized to harass the court clerk, threatening her with arrest and imprisonment for tampering with court records. I won't go into details. There's enough to justify a separate diary.
Arraignment day finally came. Apparently, Trussell showed up in court, but did not approach the bench when called. Instead, he stood up, announced he was present but, in true sovcit fashion, stated he did not recognize the court and would not participate. That's when the judge declared him FTA (failure to appear) and revoked his bond. He was then taken back into custody. Harry Riley (previously of Operation American Spring fame) posted this late Thursday evening on his Patriots For America forum:
"Subject: Terry Trussell's arraignment
Terry Trussell appeared in front of Judge Hankinson’s Kangaroo court for arraignment this morning at the Dixie County Court House. When called by the Judge Hankinson Mr. Trussell responded “I’m here to address this matter.” Judge Hankinson refused to recognize him because he was in the audience, not before the bar, declared he failed to appear in court and said he was issuing a bench warrant for failure to appear. The judge fled the court declaring it in recess having the person he said “failed to appear in court” arrested on the spot.
Judge Hankinson refused to acknowledge Terry’s presence refusing to accept Terry’s filing (see attached.) I have since learned that the Dixie County Public Pretenders Office has contacted his wife, Marie Trussell, informing her that Terry will not get out of jail without acquiescing to the appointment of a Public Defender. Mr. Trussell wants to and is capable of defending himself against the charges lodged against him..."

The "filing" Judge Hankinson refused to accept was a notice of indemnification which Trussell had been led to believe would magically protect him from the evil judge/court system. It's attached to the end of Riley's post and is quite entertaining if anyone cares to take a gander.
That's all for this episode of Sovcits on Parade: Dixie County FL. Who knows how long this will go before Trussell is finally sentenced.
