New poll shows Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell trailing Alison Grimes
Note that was on the 10th but wow. After polls showing McConnell leading this is good news for progressive organizations on the ground in Kentucky working to unseat McConnell.
According to the statement that Democracy for America released late Tuesday, the group "is working with allies in Kentucky on a $500,000 field-based campaign focused on defeating Mitch McConnell."

Although Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has fallen behind Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes in the latest Bluegrass Poll, likely voters under 34 signaled they might change their mind before November and could be this election's most influential swing voters.
When asked if their minds were made up, 30 percent of likely voters under 34 who are not undecided said they might change their minds.
A Courier-Journal analysis of the poll data shows this group of voters is somewhat ready for McConnell to be replaced, 67 percent. But 46 percent of this same group agree that Grimes will vote with President Barack Obama's agenda and that Kentucky needs someone who will "stand up to the president."

Problems with the Campaign
Her attack ad on McConnell and immigration face criticism.
"The Grimes campaign must take down this offensive ad," Charles Chamberlain, executive director of Democracy for America, said in a statement Tuesday evening. "It's simply wrong for any Democrat to use right-wing talking points and dehumanize struggling immigrant families."
MoveOn.org and America's Voice issued similar condemnations of the ad.
After speaking at a Commerce Lexington policy breakfast Wednesday, Grimes refused to acknowledge or answer repeated questions about whether her campaign will pull the ad.
Jonathan Hurst, Grimes' campaign manager, has not answered direct questions in emails about removing the ad, but after Grimes' event Wednesday morning, he said in a statement that "Alison favors comprehensive immigration reform."

Her position is made clearer in the article, which is worth checking out.
Though I really hate to think she might be a blue dog, really want to see McConnell gone.
