It's a
Fox Greatest Hits (Special Midterm Edition/Vol 2014).
Media watchdog, Media Matters, has been collecting snippets from 'Fair and Unbalanced' talking heads for over a decade. They recently put together an entertaining, blood-pumping compilation of short clips ranging from Faux News and its ilk, to Rush Limbaugh. In all the clips, the goal is to dissuade certain citizens including women, blacks, the homeless, and the under-educated, from voting. Mostly, they are aiming their message at Liberals, because Liberals frequently watch Fox for tips on how to vote.
Before you grab your heart pill/air sickness bag, there's a nice twist to this; Fox and Limbaugh are spouting off to their own audience/viewers, which means, they will inevitably discourage some of their own fans - from voting. It's brilliant. Thanks, Fox!
Some quotes from the video include:
Rush Limbaugh: When women got the right to vote, is when it all went downhill… (He says holding his big fat cigar between his… round little fingers)
Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Send us an email, Facebook, Twitter…Tell us what you think about that. (Should there be a) civics test required to vote?
Rush Limbaugh: And this early voting and same day registration crap are nothing but Democrat Party TRICKS!
Rush Limbaugh: Pure and simple. There's no reason for early voting.
Some of my favorite quotes came towards the end of the video:
Fox Host: "We actually want people to vote who are qualified to vote and have proper ID."
Fox Host:"Somebody's making an effort to get these young people to vote!"
Why, yes. Yes we are. Thank you for noticing.
