For those of you who haven't been following the gaming world, it's the new "Call of Duty" game.
Yep, the most Jingoistic, maybe a little bit Fascist, let's blow up the bad guy game comes out on the day that you should be thinking about your neighbors and who will represent you.
It's either a massively unfortunate coincidence, or a sign that the Corporations of America are yearning for the good old days when there was an arrangement... an Alliance between Corporations and Government.

I personally think it's no coincidence.
Conservatives are already complaining about the fact that Gamers are acknowledging the problems with the industry and the issues of representation.
So, on the day when identity matters most, the largest game is about how the US needs to fight against invaders from outside it. The game dialog becomes about shoot the bad guy, and not the numerous other topics that gaming has addressed.
Yes, we've been there for years. We've been fighting against it for years. But it feeds right into the Republican paradigm and memes. WE need to be TOUGH. Vote Republican.
No freaking WAY this isn't a coincidence.
